Sweet Lime serenades my soul

Cupid visited Sweet Lime’s Wine and Jazz last night. Couples filled every booth in the house and a full Sweet Lime staff traded in their colour T-shirts for crisp black and whites for the evening. 


Unlike March’s edition of the event, this affair was less about the panache than creating smoky grooves which encourages love to grow. The multi-talented Arthur Marcial gave it his all on the electric guitar before performing his harmonica performed a few cameos during his set.

 

At 9:30 pm, Special took to the stage and grooved to a song before he introduced his “son,” Cris Quammie. The talented 28 year old sang alongside his music mentor for most of the evening, emanating a soul similar to that of John Legend.

 

Wine and Jazz saw two door prize winners and much serenading as Special taught his music son how to capture a lady’s heart by evening’s end.
