Sweet Lime Restaurant was filled to capacity on Wednesday evening when the popular eatery presented the February edition of its Wine and Jazz series.
By 8 pm, every last table was taken at the monthly live music event. Patrons packed the sidewalk restaurant to enjoy delicious fare and some tasty music, played by ace jazz man Michael Boothman, as well as several other talented musicians.
Some came to dine, some to sip at the bar, and others to enjoy the good music and the lovely lime. Complimentary glasses of red wine as well as cheese platters, greeted guests, and lucky diners received free give-aways of bottles of wine. As diners enjoyed the ambiance, Boothman played an hour-long set that had his listeners humming and tapping along.
Later on, emcee and DJ, Special, introduced singers Jenley and Jerome, who also entertained. After the dinner crowd subsided, the live acts kept the action going until 10:30 pm.
