Carnival action continued on Ariapita Avenue on the days leading up to Carnival 2010.
The excitement was palpable as people got ready for the big day.
Mas camps did thriving business as the creative folk kept busy creating costumes for the parade of bands on Monday and Tuesday.
Fun loving people were everywhere, liming, dancing to music and enjoying tasty treats availlable from roadside stands.
