Every night through Carnival 2010, one of the hottest places to lime on Ariapita Avenue is the Stag Stage.
Located on the corner of Ariapita and Rosalino Street, the open air venue is free to the public, attracting a large, lively crowd, and features live appearances and performances by soca stars and other carnival artists. With bleachers on the outside providing seating for carnival parades, there are also bleachers on the inside, facing a large stage, designed to resemble a giant boxing ring. And centre stage, guest artists come on and entertain. In between performances and interviews, music fills the atmosphere as limers mix and mingle around. It's the perfect pre-fete pit-stop, or a great venue to lime all night. The action goes non-stop till twelve midnight. Click here for pics |
