The melodious sounds of Parang music made the lime even sweeter on Friday night, at Sweet Lime Restaurant on Ariapita Avenue.
A live appearance by Los Hombres Sexuales, a local group of Parang performers added to the ambiance of the open-air sidewalk eatery, as diners and those who came to lounge at the bar were treated to Spanish-flavoured traditional Christmas music.
The band, with some powerful vocalists and musicians playing their hearts out on flute, box bass, maracas and quatro, delivered Parang classics as well as new music, enlivening the vibes for all to enjoy.
With the wait staff on hand to ensure their customers were satisfied, Sweet Lime diners enjoyed authentic Caribbean cusisine to go with the music, like savoury fish, chicken, beef and lamb main courses and a host of tasty sides, appetisers and deserts.
The fun continues with more live Parang at Sweet Lime next Friday evening.
