Corner Bar was the place to be on Thursday night.
A capacity crowd turned out to hear two reggae bands, local boys Lanyap and Billy Mystics & Friends from Jamaica.
Patrons weren't disappointed. They took in the live music and fun, rootsy vibes played by the dreadlocked musicians.
The bands played mainly original music, as well as some covers, including classics by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
The music lovers stayed put through sets by both bands, giving them their rapt attention. After the music was over, the good time kept going, with limers chilling out at the cool sidewalk establishment all night long. |
