Music lovers packed Shakers on the Avenue on Saturday night till there was barely room to turn around. They had paid the $25 cover fee to hear sounds of the new band Rango Tango.


It was the band's first time at the Ariapita Avenue venue, and they rocked out, performing a mixed repertoire of pop/rock covers by bands like The Police and Journey, as well as original songs.

The appreciative crowd took in their twelve-song set, delivered with an obvious passion for the stage.

Outside, those who wanted just to lime over drinks with friends chilled out in Shakers'outside area, sitting on garden benches under mango trees and the warm night sky. 

After the band finished playing, the bar switched back to their usual 80's/90's pop groove, as the fuh-loving patrons limed the night away till the early hours of the morning.
